For many of us at SSEC it was a great challenge to be a part of  a Government Institution with a donation from a visionary of the stature of Shri Shantilal Shah who with his extraordinary foresight and leadership skills tasted phenomenal success in the corporate world. His vision to set up academic institutions and make them, world class center of professional learning, has been providing considerable inspiration to us all to work tirelessly  achieving its objectives.

Shantilal Shah Engineering college, approved by AICTE and governed by directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat state and affiliated to Bhavnagar University offers need based programs through different levels approved by appropriate authority, in line with national and state level education policy, to the students admitted through mechanism dedicated by appropriate authority.  

The institute will establish strong linkage with  statutory bodies, research organizations, professional bodies and industries to provide quality service.

    The institute is located about 12 kms. from the city of Bhavnagar on the Vartej-Ghogha highway. The SSEC campus covers area of 100 acres. Being away from the city, the picturesque locale provides aesthetically pleasing & refreshing environment for the students t pursue their studies. All classrooms, laboratories and workshops are equipped with modern gadgets. Library, workshop, laboratories, computer centers, canteen, playground etc. are available on the campus.
