IT department has been established in 2001 with the intake of 60 students. Today department have very well established laboratories having 60 latest computers with required softwares. Departments also have books worth more than and lakh Rs. related to syllabus and latest titles on industry trends.

IT department syllabus mainly focused on software development hardware and networking. It covers hardware fundamentals, microprocessor programming and networking. Subjects related to C, C++, JAVA, Advanced Java, .Net programming, PHP and database programming makes student industry ready. Subjects like system and design. Software Egg, Artificial Intelligence. , Information security, Mobile application development triggers the interest of students in research and advanced study.

Finally as a part of curriculums activity whole final semester has been dedicated to in house training and project development activities regular. Focus to the quality and value education is our motto and department works roads the clock too that.

In Electronics & Communication Engineering, the areas comprises of analog and digital electronics, analog and digital communications, antenna system, microwave engineering , fiber optic communication, audio-video engineering, computer hardware & networking, microprocessor and micro controller, digital signal processing, electronic design automation etc.

The course of Electrical Engg. has been started in June-2001 with an intake of 30 students. The first batch has just passed out in june-2005. This department being a core branch offers core subject like elements of Electrical Engg. In first year and focuses on electrical machinery & their design. The students of Department participate in many activities. They have won prizes in national level technical seminars. Many students of first batch are well placed in various areas of Electrical Engineering.

This course is started in july-2008 with the intake of 30 students and with is this course semester scheme is also started in college. The exam will be held by Gujarat Technical University. They try to concentrate on basic subject like physics, chemistry, maths and other related subjects in first year. This course is first time introduced in Bhavnagar University.
