The department activity are carried out under different divisions such as thermal engineering, Computer Aided Design (CAD) & Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM), workshop & production technology, fluid mechanics, design of machines, industrial engineering & work study, alternative/renewable energy etc. Moreover it offers core subjects such as engineering graphics, elements of mechanical engineering , material science, workshop, etc. for the first year students.

This department has been started in 1989 with the intake of 30 students successively intake is increased to 60 from 2002. Merely Production Engineering focused on manufacturing techniques, productivity improvement and production management areas. Department has facility of various labs like Mfg lab, A/V lab, Production Technology, Measurement, CAD/CAM & Industrial Engineering lab. The Industrial Scenario implies on requirements of production Engineering will be great in new future as well students are well placed in various areas even finance.

It emphasis on construction technology. The department comprises of divisions such as construction, structural engineering, environmental engineering, material testing, cement and concrete, geotechnical engineering, transportation eng., water resources, surveying. The department offers testing and consultancy services in geo-engineering, concrete technology, structural analysis and design, finite element analysis etc

The major areas in Instrumentation & Control Engineering consists of measurement and transducers, control systems components, bio-medical instrumentation, process instrumentation etc.

The department activities are mainly based on two essentials of the IT indnotries-  Hardware and Software. It covers programming skills (C, C++, Java, VB),     database  management activities, operating system, computer  networks, advanced     microprocessors and so on. Departmental activities also  focuses on industry relevant   and future based subject like SAD, SE, Mobile  Computing, Artificial Intelligence,   Information Security. The Added full semester compulsory on the site real time project for final semester students. In final semester, students also have to present three seminar/research papers based on future trends of the industry.s

The department is having very good faculty right now. Prof. N.K.Arora has submitted his synopsis for Ph.D and Shri A.A.Pandya is having Master's degree in Earthquake Engineering. Other than these, department is having other two master degree holders. This department is only the revenue generation department through testing and consultancy. Department posses some very good instruments as well under the active guidance of Prof. H.S.Trivedi department carries out expert lectures, Field visit and on site training for students. Prof. Trivadi & all other staff carries different working load in college like gymkhana, public relation and cultural activities.

In Electronics & Communication Engineering, the areas comprises of analog and digital electronics, analog and digital communications, antenna system, microwave engineering , fiber optic communication, audio-video engineering, computer hardware & networking, microprocessor and micro controller, digital signal processing, electronic design automation etc. 

The course of Electrical Engg. has been started in June-2001 with an intake of 30 students. The first batch has just passed out in june-2005. This department being a core branch offers core subject like elements of Electrical Engg. in first year and focuses on electrical machinery & their design. The students of Department participate in many activities. They have won prizes in national level technical seminars. Many students of first batch are well placed in various areas of Electrical Engineering.

It supports of Mathematics and English as a subject of core engineering
